The i-Share APs are a new style of APs launched by Ruijie Networks for special scenarios such as hotels, dormitories and hospitals. Different from conventional indoor distribution APs, the next-generation i-Share APs are designed with embedded intelligent power splitters. One such AP can perform one-to-eight power distribution to cover eight rooms at ease, saving the deployment cost by 33% as compared with the one-to-six power distribution scheme of a previous i-Share AP. Compared with the conventional indoor distribution solution, the i-Share solution saves at least one one-to-two power splitter, eight couplers, and eight jumpers for each AP when the same eight rooms are covered. Users no longer need to maintain these physical devices that are otherwise installed on the ceiling and cannot be managed through a network management system, thereby greatly simplifying wireless solution design, implementation, and maintenance.

4 Rooms with Dual-Band, Dual-Stream
4-Room Dual-Band Dual-Stream Coverage Deployment: One i-Share system covers up to four rooms, inside each of which there are both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signals. In addition, both frequency bands provide a maximum access rate up to 300 Mbps, and all users in the four rooms share the 600 Mbps access performance of the two frequency bands. This deployment scheme is especially applicable to scenarios such as wireless dormitory networks of campuses where high access performance is required.
8 Rooms with Dual-Band, Single-Stream
8-Room Dual-Band Single-Stream Coverage Deployment: One i-Share system covers up to eight rooms, inside each of which there are both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signals. In addition, both frequency bands provide a maximum access rate up to 150 Mbps, and all users in the eight rooms share the 300 Mbps access performance of the two frequency bands. Thanks to the use of the 5.8 GHz frequency band, wireless network interference from the other 2.4 GHz signals is reduced. This deployment scheme can operate as supplementary coverage to user scenarios where 2.4 GHz wireless signals already exist.

8-Room Single-Band Single-Stream Coverage Deployment: One i-Share system covers up to eight rooms, inside each of which there are only 2.4 GHz signals. The i-Share AP is designed with dual RF cards, each of which provides 150 Mbps access performance to be shared by users in four rooms. The overall 300 Mbps access performance of the AP is shared by all users in the eight rooms, so that the 2.4 GHz frequency band resources are maximally utilized. This deployment scheme is applicable to environments where a wireless network is available for supplementary coverage, all terminals operate in the 2.4 GHz frequency band, and there is little interference from other wireless signals.
